The OSCE recognises the importance of developing national capacities in addressing challenges and concerns in the domain of Explosive Hazards in Central Asia.
Training courses and exchange programmes are intended to develop / increase knowledge, skills, management and attitudes of individuals and institutions in Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Explosive Hazards Awareness and Response and development of training instructors in Central Asia in accordance with international standards.
Trainings and exchange programmes are implemented with regional level participation, which enables sharing of experiences and lessons learnt and enhances technical co-operation. It also contributes to dissemination and standardization of new training approaches including curricula, teaching methods and materials.
